Hopefully as time goes by I will post some tutorials for you to try, in the meantime I have posted a model mouse that I modelled and rendered in CU4 -very realistic results! Cool Idea??????

what do you do when you have too many blank cds lying around and nowhere to sit? the answer is the 'panda chair' designed by belen hermosa constructed from a simple base covered in cds lined up in rows. the chair was recently shown at the nude pavillion for the international furniture fair of valencia.

Product of the month - October
This is quite an interesting idea by Rob Brandt. They may look like crumpled throwaway coffee cups, but these mini-mugs come with a twist - they are actually ceramic! Manufactured by Thorsten van Elten.

Product Design Forums is a must visit site (see links list). It is used by both students and professional designers. Check out the tutorials and design work that people post. You will need to register as a user to view images and respond to posts. Why not post some of your sketches or CADD models to get feedback from other designers. Also if you do CADD check out the 3D Challenges and have a go at modelling them!
New Blog
The idea behind this blog is to provide students with a design resource, I will regularly post new links and any really good ones will be highlighted in separate posts also. Keep checking and feel free to leave comments or let me know of useful links you have found.
